Penelope Seidler was honoured by the French government in August when she was made a Chevalier of the Legion d’Honneur. It was presented to her by the French Ambassador to Australia HE Mr Michel Filhol.
Also in August, Penelope was awarded a Doctor of Letters honouris causa by the University of NSW.
