Situated in the rural hill-top town of Mondavio in the Marche region of northern Italy, this extensive renovation comprises the amalgamation of three previously separate dwellings into a single, three bedroom holiday house.

While strict local building regulations did not allow for any changes to the exterior, the addition of a roof terrace within the existing roof line with associated windows and skylights together with the removal of a portion of existing floor, brought daylight into the newly created, large internal volume.

The upper storey spaces enjoy spectacular views over the surrounding countryside, including the Adriatic, while the lower level connects to one of the few private gardens with outdoor entertainment space found in this hilltop town.
